The Nederlands Studenten Kamerkoor will premiere the choral piece Libera Me during their 2015 tour. The concerts will take place in February/March. There are 12 performances planned throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. The choir will perform the piece in the Spiegelzaal Concertgebouw on the 8th of february, 11.oo a.m. It will be broadcasted live during the Zondagochtenconcert on Radio 4. The concert will be conducted by the Belgian conductor Kurt Bikkembergs. Here is a video of the performance:

The Aurelia Saxophone Quartet, the Artvark Saxophone Quartet and two additional players will perform Clash of Cultures in a special version for ten Saxophones. This Ensemble includes a Bass Saxophone! It will be performed on the 20th of November 2014 in the Muziekgebouw IJ Amsterdam. The concert is shared project of the ASKO/Schönberg Ensemble and a Saxophone Festival organized by Arno Bornkamp. On the 4th of january the piece will be broadcasted on NPO Cultura TV.


CD Sax&Stix

A new CD by Sax&Stix is released. It contains the 1998 composition To Play Together for Alto Saxophone and Percussion. Sax&Stix consists of Eva van Grinsven(Saxophone) and Ramon Lormans(Percussion). It's the first CD released by these really great players, who celebrate their 10th anniversary. You can order the CD here . The score of this composition can be viewed under the Scores tab.

On the 11th of Januari 2013 the new orchestral composition The Treaty of Utrecht was premièred by the Radio Kamer Filharmonie conducted by maestro Michael Schønwandt. It was commissioned by the Vrijdag van Vredenburg/TROS/NTR and created with financial support of the Nederlands Fonds voor de Podiumkunsten. The composition marks the third centennial of the Treaty of Utrecht (1713-2013), which was one of the first occurences of modern diplomacy in history. It is celebrated this year in the City of Utrecht with many cultural festivities.

A special version of the 1st movement of The Treaty of Utrecht was reprised on the 12th of April 2013 in Vredenburg Utrecht. It was included in a concert where the 9th Symphonie of Ludwig von Beethoven was performed by the Radio Kamer Filharmonie, Groot Omroep Koor and Vocal soloists. The concert was conducted by Thomas Zehetmair
